About US

I’m Aimee Dickenson, the owner of RevIVe Hydration. If you’re like me, you go at 100 mph 7 days a week and rarely take a day to just sit down and truly relax. And if you’re being honest—you’re tired of being tired.

The idea of opening an IV Hydration business came to me during the summer of 2022. I was finishing up my first year of nursing school and I was beyond tapped out. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am a single mom to 3 young kids, I was working part-time, and was the President of the Nursing Club to boot. I wasn’t getting enough sleep, I was doing my best to eat a balanced diet, and my schedule was packed from sunrise to long after sunset. All I did was study, go to class/clinicals, work & sleep. I needed a boost of energy. I was at a loss—there weren’t enough hours in the day. Too much caffeine makes me jittery, and cocaine is illegal.

I was going to nursing school during Covid, and the idea of getting sick, missing class, and God forbid—clinicals! Terrified me. I couldn’t afford to fall behind.

I did some research and found vitamins that not only would boost my immune system but would specifically target my respiratory tract. I discovered that most people with Covid had a Vitamin D deficiency. The wheels started turning. I was taking oral supplements but knew that I was only absorbing about 20% of those. I was literally flushing money down the toilet. I knew that with IV hydration, my body would absorb almost 100% of the vitamins & nutrients IMMEDIATELY. So, I started exploring IV Hydration. Except, Roanoke didn’t really have anything that tailored to my busy lifestyle.

I wanted someone who could come to my house, and within an hour, the infusion would be finished. I would feel energized, hydrated, and protected. So, the dream of RevIVe Hydration was born.

I have my undergraduate degree in Health Science, my Master’s in Public Health (MPH), and graduated nursing school in May 2023. I believe in lifelong learning, and I have extensively researched and planned the most convenient and safe IV Hydration experience for you. I worked for 8.5 years for the Virginia Dept of Health as an Epidemiologist and even taught Public Health at Roanoke College for a couple of semesters.

I have brought on board two local Nurse Practitioners and a Medical Director. We not only work well together, but we trust each other implicitly. I would trust any member of my family in their care, because at RevIVe, we ARE family.

I have also hired highly skilled registered nurses that can put IVs in upside down in a ditch and are ready to be dispatched at a moments notice.

I’m excited to serve Roanoke and surrounding areas & bring convenient health to you… one drip at a time.
